Sample Lesson
Online lessons are done in groups, if possible. This gives students access to different people and a wider range of activities. Students are encouraged to talk often, rather than just listening to a teacher. There are a variety of different activities, with a structured approach. This gives everyone a chance to speak, including those who often feel shy. Students usually find this more interesting and useful than traditional study.
The lesson above is based on the short film "Timepiece". Students who sign up for the movie-based conversation course will receive a book with lessons like this one. Students will watch the movie at home and try to understand it. People who want extra practice can do the online activities before meeting with other students on Zoom.
